Flats Fishin' with Bajio
Captain Shelby Zona (FV Southwind) had the pleasure of flats fishing with the team behind Bajio Sunglasses! Earlier this summer on a picture perfect morning. Douglas Allison & Captain Shelby headed out on intercoastal waterway on a 18' Laguna Madre to fish the mangroves and oyster beds of Palm Coast. Douglas, guided the sight fishing trip into the marshier wetlands surrounding Pellicer Creek. Using different techniques such as top waters and jigs, the crew was able to boat many healthy redfish. They capped off the day by wading the swampier waters (COVER PHOTO) near Pellicer, which produced some more target fish. Douglas wore Toads sunglasses, known for their full coverage, while Captain Shelby wore Paraiso which she loved because of trendy design.
